the most iconic E-bike tour of Engelberg
This short mountain bike tour shows what true mountain biking is all about. It offers climbs where stamina is required for a short time and on the subsequent descent you also need a little self-confidence. Nevertheless, you are never far from paved roads and you always have an ideal alternative if you prefer to take it easier.
From the village center, the route follows narrow gravel paths through the districts of Engelberg. You leave the crowds of tourists behind and immerse yourself in the quiet, friendly everyday life of Engelberg. You pass farms, imposing rock faces and rushing waterfalls.
On the way, you have the opportunity to stop at the Fürenalp cable car and either grill a sausage or do a few playful technical exercises on your mountain bike. Then it’s an easy ride uphill on a tarmac road, which later turns into a gravel road and finishes with a short, steep climb until you finally arrive at the Alpenrösli restaurant. Here you can enjoy a refreshment on the sun terrace and fortify yourself for the descent ahead.

4-lake bike tour – through the mountains of Central Switzerland
Experience the impressive 4-lake tour together with an experienced bike guide! This varied route takes you along Trübsee, Engstlensee, Tannalpsee and Melchsee – through spectacular landscapes, over flowing trails and pastures with stunning views.
Thanks to the option of shortening sections by cable car or train, the tour is suitable for both sporty riders and family-friendly groups with biking experience. Our guides adapt the pace and stages individually to the group and ensure a safe and unforgettable biking experience.
From Engelberg, take the train to the Joch Pass, where the tour begins. Highlights such as the Engstlensee trail, the ride over the Tannalp and the downhill to Stöckalp await you. There is a short push section – then it’s back to pedaling!

Surenenpass – Guided bike tour for demanding cyclists
This guided tour over the Surenen Pass is an alpine bike experience for fit bikers with technique and stamina. The tour starts in Engelberg, either by cable car to Fürenalp or under your own steam. The ascent through the Surenental valley is challenging – especially the last 600 meters up to the pass, with short pushing passages.
A spectacular view of the Reuss valley in Uri awaits at the top – and the start of the varied downhill to Attinghausen. Technical passages and flowing sections make for real riding fun.
From Brüsti, a challenging trail full of roots, bends and nature leads directly downhill. Your guide will help you choose the right line and ensure your safety on the way.
The return journey is in comfort by train from Flüelen.
For anyone who loves alpine trails and is prepared to work up a sweat – this tour is a real highlight.
